1. About ArkaX

ArkaX is a career guidance platform operated by ArkaX Career Guidance LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership registered in India ("ArkaX," "we," "us"). The platform provides career assessments, roadmaps, and guidance tools to students in grades 9–12, their parents, schools, and career counselors.

2. Eligibility and account

• Students under 18 years of age may use ArkaX only with verifiable parental consent or under their school's authorisation.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration and to keep it updated.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must promptly notify us of any unauthorised access to your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or related systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any disruptive content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute platform content without written authorisation.

4. Content and intellectual property

All platform content — including assessments, methodologies, roadmaps, software, design, and copy — is the intellectual property of ArkaX Career Guidance LLP or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws.

By submitting content (such as assessment responses), you grant ArkaX a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for the purposes of providing the service to you.

5. Subscription and payment

Specific subscription terms — pricing, billing cycles, payment methods, refund policies — are presented at the point of purchase and form part of these Terms by reference.

School and institutional contracts are governed by separately executed agreements.

6. Disclaimers

ArkaX provides career guidance tools and information to support decision-making. ArkaX is not a substitute for personalised professional career counselling, psychological assessment, or academic advising. Career outcomes depend on many factors beyond the scope of this platform.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ArkaX Career Guidance LLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

8. Termination

You may stop using ArkaX at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, the licences granted to you under these Terms end, but the provisions intended to survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue in effect.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
